Customscale - Schwerpunkt Resinmodellbau und vieles mehr!
Da sehr viel Zeit und Aufwand für die Erstellung des 55 PS Aggregates vom Hanomag SS-55 investiert wurde und das Ergebnis wirklich gelungen ist, habe ich beschlossen, vom Motor ein Stand-alone Modell im Maßstab 1:16 zu erstellen.
As a lot of time and effort has been invested for the design of the 55 PS poweerplant of the Hanomag SS-55 and the final result is really convincing, I decided to build a stand alone model in 1:16 scale.
Im ersten Schritt mussten zahlreiche Stützstreben von den Druckteilen entfernt werden, was in diesem Fall mit Vorsicht durchzuführen ist, um keines der zahlreichen Details zu zerstören. Leider
befanden sich einige der Druckstreben direkt auf dem Hanomag Emblem, wodurch die Schrift nicht perfekt erhalten blieb. Die einzige Optimierung, die ich nach weiteren Versäuberungsaktivitäten
durchgeführt habe bestand darin, die Öffnung des runden Teiles an der rechten Seite entsprechend dem Original etwas glatt zu schleifen.
The project started with freeing the printed parts from the printing stems. Care has to be taken in order to not destroying the numerous small details. Unfortunately some of the printing stemps
were allocated directly on the Hanomag plate, causing some issues on the small letters. The only measure to optimize the part was to slightly sand the circular opening on one side in order to
match with the look of the original.
Da sich der Gangschalthebel vom Modell in Bezug auf die Manschette unten am Schaltknüppel von der Abbildung unterscheidet, habe ich diesen aus Plastikprofilen neu erstellt..
As the gear shift lever of the kit differs from the depicted design, I decided to scratch that part using plastic profiles.
Die Teile wurden inzwischen grundiert, wonach noch weitere kleine Fehlstellen in Bezug auf Rückstände von Druckstreben gefunden werden konnten. Due Stellen wurden mit Schleifpapier noch
versäubert. Schließlich habe ich noch versucht mit Hilfe eines Bastelmessers mit neuer Klinge den Schriftzug auf der linken Seite wieder herzustellen.
The parts meanwhile received a basic primer which helped to identify remaining residues of printing stems. These areas have been slightly sabded. Finally I re-shaped the letters of the Hanomag plate with a brand new blade of my hobby knife.

Inspiriert durch Fotos, wurde ein einfaches Gestell angefertigt, um den Motor präsentieren zu können.
Inspired by real fotos, a frame has been created to present the engine.
Die Grundfarben wurden aufgetragen und mit Klarlack für washes versiegelt.
The basic colors have been applied and sealed with a clear coat for further washes.
