Das letzte Projekt zum Thema 2cm Gebirgsflak 38 wurde nun auch begonnen.
Die Flak im Transportmodus mit Maultier. In diesem Komplett Bausatz wird neben der Flak das entsprechende Zuggeschirr sowie ein Maultier mit Gurtzeug beiliegen.
Die Teile Muli mit Geschirr sind fertig, jetzt muss noch die Flak speziell für das Projekt mit den Abänderungen gebaut werden.
Nach der generellen Überprüfung der Teile sollen nun auch noch Lasten-Kiepen und eine Beladung für den Maulesel erstellt werden.
Zunächst wurde der Maulesel nochmals zusammengebaut, sauber verspachtelt und für die Überprüfung der Passgenauigkeit grundiert. Der Gesamteindruck ist sehr gut.
After a general check of the individual parts I have decided to also include mounts for some equiment which will be attached to the donkey.
First of all I have assembled another mule, filled all seams and applied a base coat in order to check the fit. The result is quite nice.
Die Transportgestelle und Decke wurden als Master gebaut und Duplikate für den Prototypen verwendet.
Beim Geschirr habe ich noch zwei kleine Ösen im hinteren Bereich angebracht.
The masters for transport arrangements for ammunition have been created as well as a tarp. For checking the fit I also have realized duplicates for my prototype model.
Furthermore two small brackets have been attached to the towing bar.
Das Tragegeschirr wurde an der Flak angebracht und provisorisch mit dem Muli verbunden.
The mounting device has been fixed to the Flak and preliminary combined with the mule.
Die Flak ist inzwischen schwarz grundiert und der Maulesel fertig bemalt.
Als nächstes widme ich mich der Bemalung der Flak.
The black base coat has been applied to the Flak and the mule has been painted.
Next comes the painting process of the flak.
Obwohl ich nach der Grundierung immer wieder auf Gußnähte überprüft und diese dann entfernt hatte, sind mir am Ende beim Trocken bemalen wieder Stellen aufgefallen, die ich übersehen habe.
Although I have checked the model for moulding seams after priming and during the painting process (and corrected the problem areas) the final surprises showed off during the highlighting phase.
Die Flak wurde inzwischen mit unterschiedlichen Nuancen der Farbe Sandgelb im Color Modulations Prinzip mittels Airbrush bemalt. Bereits jetzt treten einzelne Details sehr schön hervor und verleihen dem Modell einen plastischen Eindruck.
The flak has been treated meanwhile with different shades of sandgelb following the color modualtion principle via Airbrush. Already now, some of the small details pop out and adds a 3D effect to the model.
Damit das Ganze stimmig aussieht, habe ich noch von Dragon eine passende Figur herausgesucht und mit einem Hornet Kopf versehen.
In order to have a complete combination, I have also adapted a Mountain Troop figure from Dragon fitted with a Hornet head.
Nun ist auch die Gebirgsflak fertig bemalt und die drei Darsteller müssen noch miteinander verbunden werden. Dafür fehlt noch das Gurtzeug an der Figur und am Muli.
Now, also the Flak has been painted and the three individual characters have to be combined in order to have the full arrangement. In order to achieve this, only the harnesses for the figure and the mule are missing

Alle Komponenten wurden nun miteinander verbunden.

Das Projekt ist jetzt mit dem passenden Bausatz abgeschlossen worden.
